There are no one-size-fits-all solutions to end shootings in America, but there are many things to be done, and it will take everyone working together to bring change.

Before: Teach prevention

Anyone can learn to spot the signs of instability that might lead to gun violence. Everyone can be taught to take simple measures to reduce the chances of shooting just like we prepare for fires or wear seatbelts. Training and education can dramatically reduce the odds of tragedy.

During: Teach what to do

If an active shooter event should happen in your community, knowing exactly what to do can make the difference between life and death.

After: Provide healing resources

Once the shooting stops, there is nothing more important than helping survivors and the families of victims. Learn about the resources available to victims and survivors, and how to make a plan for healing.
