2020 active shooter incidents up 33% from 2019

The FBI has identfied 40 active shooter incidents in 2020, up from 30 incidents the year before, according to its annual study just released. The tally shows a 33% increase and comes despite the pandemic lockdown that left school children at home and many businesses closed.
