Q. Why did you write Stop the Killing?
A. I wholeheartedly believe each person has the ability to make a difference and save lives. It's difficult when there's so much information out there, and people are pointing to a single solution rather than a comprehensive one that likely involves legislation, rules, and planning. Stop the Killing is designed to give you knowledge on the current status of mass shootings in America, including definitions, statistics, and a guide on how to be a part of the solution.
We need to be as devoted as we were after 9/11 to watch out for each other, and when we see behaviors of concern or hear leakage from a person on a pathway to violence, we need to say something. It sounds simple, and it may be in theory, but it must be an all-encompassing commitment., and when we see behaviors of concern or hear leakage from a person on a pathway to violence, we need to say something. Stop the Killing is packed with practical ideas for parents and employees and shares sound strategies for policymakers for the government, corporations, religious organizations, or education.
